Steel coils are wound sheets of steel produced in a hot-strip mill. Slabs, initially 2-10 inches thick, are rolled between horizontal and vertical rolls to achieve a flat-rolled steel coil about a quarter-inch thick and a quarter mile long. These coils are efficiently stored and transported and come in various types.
Hot Rolled Coils (HR Coils)
Cold Rolled Coils (CR Coils)
Galvanized Coils (GP/GC Coils)
Stainless Steel Coils
H.R. steel thicker than 4mm is called H.R. plates, available in various grades based on usage. Mild steel is used for general fabrication, carbon/alloy steel for high wear and tear, and stainless steel for water or chemical exposure. Common grades include IS1079, IS2062 A/B/C, SAILMA250/300/350, C-45, C-55, EN8/9/19/24, boiler qualities, and stainless steel (200, 300, 400 series), with custom options available.
This is a construction material featuring a cross-section shaped like a 90-degree angle. The size is defined by the length and thickness of both edges. If the lengths of both sides are the same, the angles are equal; if not, they are unequal. It is utilized in every construction task. The most frequently offered length ranges from 10m to 12m
Joists feature an H-shaped cross section and are measured by the length of the horizontal section relative to the vertical part of the H. They are primarily utilized in building to add support to the roof. They are also utilized as a supporting framework for bridges
Round, slender semi-finished steel length that is produced from a billet and coiled for additional processing. Rod is often shaped into wire items or utilized to produce bolts and nails.
Product of a solid shape that is essentially circular in cross-section and provided in coils or straight lengths. Wire rods are additionally utilized for producing welding rods
Tor Steel is a crucial material in the construction of any superstructure. It is primarily utilized in foundations and also for strengthening cement concrete. The cross-section has a circular shape and varies in thickness from 6mm to 50mm
